Jack Sprague – No. 60 Con-way Freight Toyota Tundra New Hampshire 200 Race Preview
Jack Sprague on New Hampshire International Speedway:
“I love racing at New Hampshire International Speedway. It’s been a great track for me over the years. I’ve got a win there, and I have had a lot of really good runs there in the past. I don’t know what it is, but I love racing there. I’ve always liked flat tracks, so New Hampshire is right up my alley. It’s a driver’s track. I have one win there and three second-place finishes, so maybe the track owes me another win. New Hampshire would be the perfect place for the No. 60 Con-way Freight Toyota to get back to Victory Lane.”
Jack Sprague on Finding Victory Lane Again at NHIS:
“I am really excited about heading back to New Hampshire. I love that it is a driver’s track. Being virtually flat, it is a very technical track and corner entry speed is critical to setting up passes. Track position is also very important, so the Con-way Freight pit crew will have to be on top of their game. We have one of the best pit crews on pit road and I feel like we will have a great setup for New Hampshire. I am excited about our chances to come out of New Hampshire with a solid run and maybe even a win!”
Jack Sprague Holds the Race Record at NHIS:
Jack Sprague holds the race record at New Hampshire International Speedway. Sprague captured the record on July 21st, 2001 while pacing the track at an average of 109.244 miles per hour (1 hour, 56 minutes, 13 seconds). Sprague’s victory came after he sat on the pole with a fast lap of 29.735 seconds at a speed of 128.091 miles per hour. Sprague led a dominating 183 of 200 laps to capture the win which helped him capture the third Championship Title of his career.
Jack Sprague’s Fun Facts:

This Week’s Toyota Tid-Bit:

Sprague’s NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Career Stats at Gateway International Raceway:
The flat-track of New Hampshire International Speedway suits Sprague’s driving style and the proof is in the figures. Sprague has nine previous attempts at the 1.058-mile oval, where he has one win, four top-five and six top-ten finishes. Sprague has also sat on the pole three times and has only qualified outside of the top-ten twice. Sprague has also competed in four NASCAR Busch Series events at NHIS with his best qualifying effort (12th) and best finish (3rd) coming in 2002 while he was driving the No. 24 car for legendary team owner, Rick Hendrick.
