Jack Sprague on Michigan International Speedway:
“Racing at Michigan International Speedway is always a great experience for me.  The track is near my hometown (Spring Lake, Michigan), so I will have family and friends coming in for the race.  It’s a chance to see people that I don’t get to see at any other time during the year.  It’s also a great opportunity to see many of the people from Con-way Freight since their headquarters is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  It gives us a chance to thank them for the support they give us and hopefully get a win for them right in their own backyard.”

Jack Sprague to Honor the ESGR at Michigan:
Con-way Freight is tremendously proud of their employees and especially those who are members of the National Guard or Reserves. Con-way Freight is a big supporter of the ESGR (Employers Supporting Guard and Reserve) and will share the hood of the No. 60 Toyota Tundra with the ESGR this weekend at Michigan International Speedway to help raise awareness for the ESGR.

About Con-way’s Commitment:
Con-way Freight feels strongly about supporting its employees who are called to active duty.  Currently, Con-way Freight has 28 employees who are deployed and 92 who are members of the Guard or Reserves.  Employees of Con-way who are deployed are guaranteed that their jobs are kept available to them when they return and Con-way even maintains full health care benefits for employees and their families during the employees’ absence from home.  In addition, Con-way provides military differential pay to families when an employee is deployed.  Con-way wants to encourage other employers to learn from their rich history of commitment and encourages other companies to adopt similar value systems — ensuring our active duty Reservists that they can come home and support their families after their tour of duty is complete.

Wyler Racing’s Own David Wyler Recipient of Patriot Award:
Much like Con-way Freight, Wyler Racing and The Jeff Wyler Automotive Group strongly support the ESGR.  Team President David Wyler recently received an ESGR Patriot Award in recognition of his extraordinary support of an employee who serves in our U.S. military.

Sprague’s Career Stats at Michigan International Speedway:
Jack Sprague has run in all three of NASCAR’s top-tier divisions at Michigan International Speedway but a win has eluded him so far.  Sprague’s best finish of fourth came while driving in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 1999.  That was Sprague’s first start at the 2-mile oval since he made his debut there in a NASCAR Busch Series car in 1993.  In that event, Sprague qualified 26th and finished 9th.  Since then, Sprague has raced at his home-State track seven more times, including five Truck Series races, a second Busch Series race, and one NASCAR Nextel Cup Series venture.
