Terry Cook is a veteran of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) and will enter his 11th year of full-time competition in 2008 with Wyler Racing, as driver of the No. 06 Toyota Tundra.

Cook made his debut in the NCTS in 1996; just one year after the Series was started.  Over his career, Cook has accumulated six wins, 27 top-five and 94 top-ten finishes.  In addition, Cook has sat on the pole eight times and led 1081 laps.  Cook even holds the record for the most consecutive starts in the NCTS after starting every event since 1998.

Cook’s first taste of victory in the NCTS came at Flemington Speedway in August of 1998 and he followed that up with four wins in 2002 (Gateway, Milwaukee, New Hampshire, and IRP) and one win in 2006 (Kansas).

Cook began his racing career in 1987 in the Late Model Sportsman Division at Flat Rock (Mich.) and Toledo (Ohio) Speedways and earned 22 feature wins over the course of two years.

Cook went on to win back-to-back Track Championships in the Super Late Model Division at Flat Rock Speedway in 1989 and 1990 and followed that up by winning the Super Late Model Division Championship at Toledo Speedway in 1992.  Cook duplicated that honor at Sandusky Speedway in 1995 before making his move to the NCTS in 1996.

Cook made his debut at The Milwaukee Miles on July 6th, 1996 and he hasn’t looked back.  Cook has made a steady progression in the tough Truck Series, winning his first Bud Pole award in August of 1997 at Flemington Speedway and his first win at the same truck just one year later.  Since then, Cook has seen Victory Lane five more times, accumulating wins at some of the toughest tracks on the circuit.
